How Attune Medical Works

Attune Medical provides structured, GP-led online care for adults with ongoing, unclear, or overlapping health concerns. Care is delivered over defined periods of clinical responsibility, allowing careful assessment, proportionate investigation, and clear forward planning. All consultations are conducted remotely via secure video.

Step 1 - Discovery Consultation

Discovery Consultation

The Discovery Consultation is a focused clinical conversation designed to understand:

What has been happening

  • The context of your concern
  • What has already been explored
  • What you are hoping to achieve through GP involvement

Its purpose is to determine whether structured GP oversight is appropriate.
No diagnosis, prescribing, or investigation takes place at this stage. This consultation clarifies expectations, scope, and suitability.

Consultation

If ongoing care is appropriate, you may enter an Initial Responsibility Period. This is a defined timeframe (typically 8–12 weeks) during which a named GP assumes structured oversight of your care.

During this period, care may include:

  • Whole-picture clinical assessment
  • Review of previous diagnoses, test results, and management
  • Up to three structured online GP consultations
  • Clinical thinking time between appointments
  • Coordination of care where required

Where clinically appropriate, this period may also include:

  • GP-directed blood tests and diagnostics
  • Interpretation of investigation results
  • Prescribing where indicated
  • Referral to NHS or private specialists
  • Written clinical summaries and forward planning

Investigations are purposeful and proportionate. Testing is directed by a GP and interpreted within your full clinical context. This structure allows careful review and measured decision-making rather than isolated consultations..

At the conclusion of the Initial Responsibility Period, your GP will recommend one of the following:

1. Discharge With Recommendations

Where concerns have been clarified or appropriately referred, care concludes deliberately with:

Recommendations

2. Ongoing Membership

Where continued oversight is clinically appropriate, you may join Attune Membership.

Membership provides:

Membership is designed for individuals who benefit from steady clinical oversight rather than episodic appointments.

C. Focused, Time-Limited Programme

Where a defined issue requires structured input, a time-limited programme may be recommended, concluding with review and onward planning.
